3 Very Cool Free Apps That You Can Use To Keep You Organised For School

The future is so god damn cool.

Well, by future I mean now. Close enough right? We have so many cool gadgets, tools and apps available to us, with new ones becoming available every day.

With that in mind, here are my three favourites for staying organised at school. These are all totally free to access. They do have paid plans, but the free one is definitely enough for staying organised in school.

1. Trello (Project Managing)

Trello is a really cool little tool that is great for managing projects and planning. You can organise first by boards, then lists then cards. For a simple setup, create a board for each subject at school. Once you’ve done that, you can create as many lists as you need, which you can use to categorise your projects. Each card fits into a list and can be dragged all over the place, as well as customised and colour coded.

Because of the easy click and drag function, Trello is great for planning and projects. Better yet, you can set Trello to collaborate with other students if you are working on a group project. Anyone can contribute to boards, lists or cards once you approve them. Plus, it’s a lot of fun!

It’s available as an app for your smartphone, or online in your browser.

2. Evernote (Notes)

Evernote is the 21st-century version of a notebook in your pocket. Create notebooks to organise everything, and then go nuts! Create unlimited notes, checklists, photos, reminders, and even audio recordings. Use a simple tagging system to help you find things easily, and you have the freedom to organise things however you want! I use it just to jot down those ideas that strike you in the middle of the night.

It’s a great tool for life in general, not just your school stuff! Evernote is a favourite among business owners, but if organising is your thing you’ll love it regardless!

3. Grammarly (Grammar and Spell Checking)

Grammarly is a gold mine. Think the Microsoft Office spell checker on steroids. It checks your spelling and basic grammar. The cool part is that it checks your writing on everything inside a browser. Including things like Facebook, or emails. The free version installs into your browser, and for a small annual (or monthly) fee you can unlock the extension for Microsoft Office, as well as 100s of advanced grammar checks that the free version doesn’t help with.

Take your writing to the next level with this very easy and free tool!

Start exploring!

There are hundreds of free, very nifty tools available for use. These are just some of my favourites, but they are not the only ones I use! I have tools for automation, advanced group messaging, scheduling, reminders, and stacks more. If you find more that you like, let me know in the comments below, I always love discovering new ones!
